Hopeful Online Casino Players
Poker Strategy recently published interesting news about the Full Tilt Poker
online casino gambling group; Poker Strategy is a a top website offering full
poker information. In the article, it suggested that the legal representatives
from Full Tilt Poker in Switzerland, members of Maryland’s US Attorney’s Office
and a certain federal judge just had a noteworthy communication recently. The
trail of communication showed that a letter was penned by the US Attorney Rod J.
Rosenstein addressed to Justice Catherine C. Blake, a judge for the federal
government, telling the judge that Rosenstein has been communicating with the
representative of one of the online casinos injured last April, Barry Boss.
In the letter, it mentioned about the two frozen bank accounts in Switzerland,
which are allegedly under the name of Ranston Limited, an online casino poker
operator. Rosenstein added that there are talks surrounding the immediate
settlements. And because of that, the federal government offered to renounce any
time limits that are in effect on the filing of the case against Ranston
Limited. For more information, the letter is linked at http://resources.pokerstrategy.com/2011/10/27/8.pdf.
The US Attorney further added that he will submit a report regarding the status
of the Ranston case that affects the online casinos, if it is not settled on the
21st of December, 2011.
It must be known that the case against Ranston is actually part of the still
unsealed lawsuit that was initiated in 2009 entitled: United States of America
v. Funds Contained in Fur Accounts (Oldford Group et al). For the online casino
players still waiting to be reimbursed, this will give them hope that the
possibility of receiving the refunds will come true, while anticipating the
acquisition of Full Tilt Poker by Groupe Bernard Tapie. |
