A Futuristic Bet365

Reading the news these days is depressing, especially in relation to the employment downturn. But ComputerWeek UK, an information technology publication, recently published an article citing a plan for Bet365, an online casino and wagering group, to expand its number of staff to accommodate the increasing number of clients of their website, mounting transactions and growing website traffic. According to Martin Davies, Bet365’s Chief Technical Officer, he is intending to recruit a fresh team of specialists to develop software and design a network architecture that will enable the company to join the ranks of online casinos and wagering firms that have more efficient and futuristic IT platforms.

Davies added that this new team will have special functions and will work separately. Their aim is to develop only the future of Bet365 toward what the future will be for the online casino industry. The exiting team of IT personnel, however, will keep the present system of the online casinos and wagering operates smoothly. Davies said that he and his firm are looking for personalities with open minds who can join them in their operation and new direction. They are looking for somebody who is not limited to only one type of software, and who can solve a problem distinct from Bet365’s distinct processes.

For the ambition of Davies, the problem seems to be on how to make software that will be able to run more efficiently in less time on a hardware that has maximum power to process. Currently, with 160 CPU cores, the software is not able to run fast because of the number of CPU. Davis wants to change how the software is written in order for their online casinos to be efficient and swift.
