Cricket Matching Gambling
If in other countries online casino poker is much more popular than other
sports, cricket matches are definitely the more popular game in the Middle East,
particularly India and Pakistan. However, you cannot deny the fact that when
popularity rises among sports and online casinos, without any regulations
protected by the law, corruption is expected. Hence, the British courts made a
proclamation that certain match fixing in these countries must be discontinued.
The Cricket League of Pakistan was already given a notice regarding the men
previously charged with unsolicited match-fixing. Whoever is caught doing such
activity will be put to jail as the entire world is keen to seriously cut down
on this illegal activity that threatens the industry.
The three men who were sentenced include Salman Butt, who will serve 30 months
imprisonment, while Mogammad Asif was sentenced to 12 months and Mohammad Amir
to 6 months for their illegal match fixing crimes. Although they were given
their rightful number of years to be spent in prison, the authorities of both
countries have not addressed the corruption problems behind the match-fixing, or
even checked the currently unregulated online casinos now that the cricket
season is in progress once again. Most of the wagerers that place their bets
look for online casino sites elsewhere, unregulated and unauthorized by the
country. However, opinions from the public say that imprisonment is not enough
to make illegal match fixers stop.
Those online casinos being regulated and licensed to operate can easily detect
any illegal activities since they have a licensed computerized system that helps
them detect any unusual activities. And this has already been agreed upon by
legal operators to maintain this vigilance against corruption and for game
fairness because there is a lot of money and industry at stake here, the last
Indian Premier league earned a whopping 74 billion rupees throughout the game.
