that talks about how the business billionaires in America were captivated by the
possibilities of online casino, poker and other Internet gambling business and
its pending comeback in the US gambling market. The article highlights that some
of the executives successful in business that have seen the opportunity of
providing advertising services and, of course, software to operate online
casinos and other gambling services. All these business executives believe that,
eventually, Internet gambling, especially poker will be evolving in the United
States soon.
Among those who were mentioned is Richard Bronson, who used to be administering
the Mirage Resorts and is the founder of US Digital Gaming. According to him,
some of the rich and shrewd billionaires in America are happy to invest in his
business and future online casinos, gaming and gambling projects. Investors
include: Steven Roth of the real estate industry, Herbert Simon of the shopping
mall sector, and William and Robert Taubman, who is a wealthy heir. The article
also discussed the present initiatives for legislation and the online casino and
gambling market in America. It emphasized that those who are moving first get
the full advantage and they are the ones being pursued now.
Other personalities interested in the legalization of online casino and poker
are Donald Trump, Marc Lasry of Avenue Capital Group, Lorenzo and Frank Fertitta,
and Steve Wynn. Before Black Friday occurred, Wynn almost had a deal with
PokerStars, but he backed away from it before the disaster happened. A
replacement is still to be revealed. For the Fertittas, they are strongly
supporting the regulation of Internet poker in America at the federal level.
