In fact, Focus on the Family is a very conservative US based group that has been very outspoken in their defense of the UIGEA and the group’s belief that online casinos cause extreme social and familial problems. Focus on the Family is one of the most outspoken opponents of a legalized US internet gambling industry yet the religious group has yet to make fully accurate and fair statements against internet gambling.

In that same vein, the conservative religious group has now crossed the line outside of the online casino gambling debate and has actually gone so far as to criticism Hollywood star and famous mother of six Angelina Jolie about her decision to crop short her daughter Shiloh’s hair. The religious group has really stepped off the deep end with the latest claims that Shiloh’s new shorter haircut is going to force gender confusion on the small child. This is far outside the realm of merely criticizing and fanaticizing about the online casinos – this group is actually claiming that, wait for it, Jolie may be forcing gayness on her daughter.

There seems to be no end to the ridiculousness that will come out of Focus on the Family, be it about the online casinos or Hollywood’s elite. At this point, if Focus on the Family continues in this vein they will only continue to discredit their organization and pose less of a potential problem for the internet gambling industry.
