The trends are actually a bit confusing really; there is no denying that the land bingo halls are closing in mass, but in recent months some companies have noted that while profits are down, revenues at the land bingo halls are increasing just a bit every month…probably not enough to save all of the closing venues however. The online casinos and bingo sites are just taking too much of the business; player simply like the convenience of gambling from their homes.

Because of the way this trend is heading, the government is closely watching how the situation continues to develop in the coming months. Many land gambling operators have contested the unfair taxation laws that exist between the land and online casinos and government officials are consider methods that would, perhaps, level the playing field a bit between the land and internet bingo operators.
