Solution for Greece
The Greek government may have a solution on their hands this week with the news
that Techlink Entertainment has spent the past eight years studying the Greek
market and is now ready to launched controlled online casino gambling for
Greece. Techlink has developed a gaming system that is intended to work right in
line with the Greek government’s desires for the controlled supply of online
casinos and internet chance games of choice while still blocking some of the
more unsavory aspects of the game. This new availability of a Greek company
ready to license internet gambling could solve a lot of the problems that Greece
is having with the European Union.
The EU is pressuring Greece, along with a handful of other EU member-states to
adopt new online casino gambling regulations that better license and allow
foreign online casinos into the market. The Greek government has long opposed
and open Greek internet gambling market and instead is accruing massive fines
from the EU and also running a state monopoly. Techlink though has now gained
the approval of the Gaming Standards Association and recently submitted a bid to
the Greek authorities to supply online casino games throughout Greece.
The new Techlink product, Gameplan, would allow a new level of intense control
over the online casino games from one central point. The new technology present
in the Techlink product is a huge step forward for Greece and would solve the
country’s questionable monopoly legislation if the government choice to embrace
Techlink and alter the existing legislation to more closely align with what the
EU has asked of Greece. |
