New Pact for Gambling Jurisdictions
The Kahnawake Gaming Commission and the licensing jurisdiction of Antigua and
Barbuda has announced a new pact between the two international licensing
jurisdictions that allows the gambling companies licensed out of both a whole
new level of flexibility. These two licensing jurisdictions are widely respected
all over the world and each one has its own special characteristics and features
that will now be available and benefit the other. Of note though is the fact
that online casinos licensed out of each of these jurisdictions will not have
all of the privileges of the other jurisdiction, rather the current pact acts as
a way for these two jurisdictions to share the load.
The KGC is the largest online casino licensing jurisdiction in the world and
consistently runs a highly regulated jurisdiction offering licensing to chance
gaming sites, betting, poker, and more. Antigua on the other hand is a lot
smaller and the jurisdiction actually has the distinction of UK white listing
status. This new pact does not extend UK white listing status to KGC licensed
online casinos, but does now allow a broader and fuller range of hosting and
service options to internet gambling companies in either jurisdiction. Antigua
is smaller and more niche, while the KGC runs a vast network and has the
advanced technology to handle this level of internet gambling activity.
This inter-jurisdictional pact is the first of its kind in the online casino
gambling market and primarily now extends to new server and hosting solutions
for all of the licensed gambling sites between the two jurisdictions. As the
pact continues it is likely that the two jurisdictions will begin to also share
more knowledge, software, and regulatory framework to create a stronger
licensing jurisdiction for both locations. |
