Governments Aren't Listening
The global public has made a firm and clear choice these days and that is in
support of a global online casino gambling industry. Although there are still
objections to the internet gambling industry from sections of the public the
religious right and some tribes, the vast majority of the public in both the US,
Australia, and other countries are asking for full legalization and regulation
of the online casinos. The thing is, the countries are just not listening to
what the public is asking for an is instead operating out of fear and passing
new laws out of a fear of the industry and that the internet gambling sites may
over shadow the success and structure of the land gambling industry.
This is just not the case though if nations like the US and Australia would look
toward Europe the European online casino gambling industry is incredibly
developed and regulated throughout most of the countries. And though the
European market is far from perfect right now, it is working well and doing its
job of keeping internet gamblers safe when they use the online casinos while
also monitoring the sites and licensing practices within each EU country. Also
though, Europe has not seen a complete disinterest in the land gambling
industry. Although it is true that a lot of interest has shifted to the online
casinos, there are still plenty of EU gambling companies that are seeing high
levels of land gambling begin to return after the recession of the past several
years.
The public has very nearly demanded new legislation and regulations and yet
nothing has been done on this front there are no efforts to make cohesive
gambling regulations that satisfy the state governments on all concerns. |
