Delayed Online Casino Launch
The US state of New Hampshire has been heating up the media news over the past
month because New Hampshire is close to becoming the first US state to legalize
the online casinos and actually implement a legalized internet gambling
industry. The state government has already developed a system for the internet
gambling sites that would use the state lottery system to fund player accounts
without ever actually having the state gamblers processing payments through the
internet. The legislation has passed fully through the state and yet the
government chose to postpone the date for several more weeks until more
officials are educated on the specifics of the new online casino gambler
legalization.
Lottery officials were the ones that developed the specifics of the new plan to
launch online casinos through the existing state lottery system and those
officials moved full steam ahead with the plans without really ever fully
explaining the new plan to the government politicians running the state.
Although the new online casino process through the lottery was supposed to start
just this week, the schedule date has been delayed so that the politicians can
maintain a clearer understanding of the specifics and ensure that the new
measures will be in full compliance with federal laws governing the US internet
gambling industry.
Although New Hampshire has experienced some setbacks right now regarding the
implementation of the new online casino gambling legislation the state is still
one of the first to come this far – just a heartbeat away from a legal
intrastate internet gambling system. |
