This popular major network show has captivated the world, and certainly the United States, for six years now and with the finale complete it’s time to analyze what Lost has done for the collective conscious of the United States and how the concept of freedom and choice play into the online casinos as well.

The show Lost has really centered on not only the debate between good and evil, but more so the concept of choice – the freedom to make and shape your own life and future. The online casino gambling debate really comes down to this simple concept as well even though the politicians have long made the debate about everything except for freedom of choice. The show Lost really took a close look (though viewers might not have realized it) at the philosophy behind choice and the conclusion of the show really indicated that the show’s writers believe that choice is one of the ultimate freedoms and though it may not lead to the happiest life for every single person (just as online casinos are bound to lead to problem gambling issues for some) it doesn’t negate each person’s basic right to choice.
