Brits Performing Well at WSOP
The internationally recognized World Series of Poker is well underway this week
and the first round of bracelet winners have begun to show up in the media. Land
and online casino poker pro Richard Ashby has taken home his first WSOP bracelet
ever and is performing incredibly well in the games. Ashby is the third British
poker player to take home a win and a bracelet so far during the WSOP and
Ashby’s winnings have topped over $140,000. Ashby is a prominent player for the
Full Title Poker online casino brand and is doing that site justice by
performing so well in Event 21 of the WSOP, which was a Seven-Card Stud poker
tourney even with $1,500 buy-in.
Ashby has been doing very well in the online casino poker arena over the past
year and really raised his profile among the pros by upping his presence in the
land tournament circle in the months leading up to this year’s WSOP. As a high
stakes player with a friendly attitude and a formidable poker game Ashby was a
shoe-in for winning a bracelet this year. In fact, Ashby is a representative for
Full Tilt online casino poker and is performing better than any could have
imagined. His $140,000 in winnings have come from taking home part of more than
21 different event pots over the past several weeks.
The WSOP action continues through to the end of the month and the land and
online casino poker pros are only warming up as the tournaments and events
continue. The annual WSOP takes place in Las Vegas and essentially hosts the
most impressive poker talent in the world all in one city. |
