Women and the Online Casino Industry

Women within the land and online casino gambling industries rarely receive a lot of attention and focus – for the most part the major CEOs and top-level executives of the gaming groups are run by men, but there are women at the top management levels of these companies that deserve recognition, and that is precisely the intention for the Women in Gaming Networking Event that takes place in London in late September this year. This first annual event will work very similar to a lot of the industry conferences that occur within the land and online casino gambling industry already, but with a specific focus on how women are affecting the gambling industry.

The event will feature numerous women keynote speakers from some of the most notable and influential land and online casino gambling groups in the industry. Speakers include women from Ladbrokes, Betfair, Virgin Games, Income Access, and many others. These speakers will deliver keynotes as well as lead panels and discussions that are aimed at bringing a new slant to the traditional format that centers on general information and allow the industry women to network and interact. The women industry professionals hail from all of the major online casinos and will share their experiences as well as thoughts on the future of the gambling industry and where it is headed.

In addition to these sections and parts of the networking event the International Women in Gaming Awards has been designed as the first event of its kind to highlight the exceptional work that women in the industry are contributing to the development of the land, iGaming, and online casino gambling industries.
