French Poker from Playtech
Eager French online casino poker players now have a whole new poker network
launched exclusively for the French market and in conjunction with several other
major names in the European and French gaming markets. The new iPoker network
has been licensed by the French licensing authorities and follows all of the
regulations and restrictions that French officials have but on the newly
liberalized market. This Playtech online casino poker network will be one of the
first to actually launch in the market because Playtech, in partnership with
four other companies, Casino du Golfe, Chili Poker, JOA, and Tranchant, secured
one of the first poker licenses issued by the French officials.
As the poker network goes live the addition of ever more online casino poker
sites will make the iPoker Network an actual source of huge poker play for
French players. Right now, Chili Poker is the only site operating on the iPoker
network (and one of the few foreign French sites able to offer poker to French
players. Chili Poker is a natural partner for the Playtech iPoker launch, as was
the partnership with the land based casinos who are eager to move into the
online side of the market where there is a lot of potential revenue that has
gone untapped by the French market for years now – both French land gambling
groups listed plan to seek out licenses from the government to operate poker
sites on the iPoker Playtech network.
All of the companies in question have a long history of excellence and service
within the land and online casino gambling markets – a strong determining factor
when the French authorities are examining for potential licensing in the market.
French poker players, while wanting still an even more liberalized and open
poker market are pleased that Playtech was granted entry and that Chili Poker
has already launched. |
