Online Casino Closure for Apollo
Although the online casino gambling industry is booming right now all over the
world there is a certain level of saturation that has been reached in several
key markets. New internet gambling sites are launching on a monthly basis and
these sites are vying and competing for a share of the albeit huge gambling
market. There has always been a lot of room for niche online casinos and
gambling sites, but sometimes there are simply obstacles that are too large to
combat. This has been the case for the Royal Apollo gaming site with serviced
the US gaming market. Royal Apollo was one of many online casinos powered on the
Rival platform and accepting US players. But the recent crackdown by the US
banks has created some serious payment processing issues for Rival, and thus
licensees like Royal Apollo.
The payment processing issue that is facing Rival powered online casinos has
been surfacing in the online casino forums for weeks now and Royal Apollo was
one of the first of the Rival powered gambling sites to admit defeat and throw
in the towel. The email from the Royal Apollo team indicated that the site was
shutting down effective immediately and would no longer accept game play from
any players. The email cited the closure as a result of the online casino no
longer being able to offer game play at a high standard and with reliability.
Although Rival was working on a way around the recent US payment blocks all of
the licensees were experiencing credit card rejections and other issues as a
result of the payment blocks. Without deposits and withdrawals Royal Apollo is
left without an online casino and so has been forced to close its virtual doors
this week. |
