This new amateur team has 23 players from 18 countries represented and the final members of this online casino poker team were picked from an enormous applicant pool of more than 2,000 applications. This new team will never face off against the pros, but rather will be used through the internet to expand the presence of the PokerStars brand and represent the internet poker site in tourneys within the PokerStars network, as well as at tourneys off of the PokerStars site.

The team has just launched and 2010 will really be the year of expanding the PokerStars brand.
