Non US Online Casinos Launch
One of the great injustices of the current US online casino gambling ban is the
fact that US companies are still able to operate for the international gambling
market and compete with foreign companies, but yet foreign companies do not have
access to US gamblers. That’s not to say that US gambling companies can offer
internet gambling within the US, because that controversial situation is still
in the works. But rather, several Las Vegas gambling groups have announced plans
to launch into the international gambling industry with targeted online casinos
that compete with foreign based companies. Harrah’s was the first major US
gambling group to take this step, and now the Beneficial Holdings gambling group
announced a newly acquired Nicaragua license that will enable the company to
launch a full gambling site that operates outside of the US market.
Of particular concern is the fact that Beneficial Holdings, as a US based
company has to ensure that it does not conduct business with US players. The US
Department of Justice is particularly coming down hard on illegal gambling
groups. Beneficial announced that the new license allows the Nevada based
gambling group to launch Grupo Beneficial Nicaragua. The Nicaragua gaming site
actually has its own domain name now, bet.cr and will host a full betting and
gambling site for the international, non-US market. The .cr specifically denotes
that the site is licensed and operating out of Costa Rica.
This new online casino gambling site is already prepped for a full launch by the
end of the month and interesting enough, Grupo announced plans for customized
gambling software – a rare choice in the gambling market because there are so
many top quality licensable gambling platforms on the market right now. The site
will operate as a downloadable site and again, focuses on pulling non-US
gamblers as the main market. |
