What Were They Thinking?

The awarded for outright insensitivity and possibly stupidity as well goes to the Australian censors who decided to block and ban sites that contained nudity of small breasted women. That’s right, alongside the online casinos and child pornography potentially filtered out of the country through new censorship policies, pornography and even just nude images of small-breasted women is apparently too close to child pornography. A women’s group has taken some extreme exception to this particular block and are loudly demanding that the Australian committee that made this questionable decision rethink such a bold and insensitive move.

This is not a particularly new concept, even US films are watched closely to ensure that child pornography is not being simulated by using young and small-breasted women. But the Women’s groups taking exception to the planned Australian censorship also have a definite point. Lumping small-breasted women into such objectionable category as child pornography is a huge move – especially since this censorship is supposedly focused on banning the online casino gambling industry more than anything else. The online casinos are the platform issue for the censorship committee in Australia, which makes you wonder how the topic of A-cup women came up in the first place.

Australia’s government is already pushing the boundaries of international acceptance with this internet censorship plan already – and though no one can really object to blocking child pornography, the banning of online casinos is up for debate in terms of crossing into personal freedoms. And the small-breasted women ban – simply degrading and an indication that the Australian censors are already making dangerous moves that will severely limit the personal internet freedoms of Aussies.
