Processing US Online Casino Transactions
Alternative payment processing methods are about to become the set standard in
the US online casino gambling market. Mastercard is definitely re-imposing
blocks on the internet gambling sites working with US players, and Visa is
rumored to be following suit down a similar path. This news has a lot of
gamblers worried that they will not be able to access their favorite online
casinos very soon. But that’s only partially true, because there are a whole lot
of options outside of the banking and credit card companies.
The big trend in the US online casino gambling industry is now toward
independent payment processing companies such as Ewalletexpress, Usemywallet,
and other US facing companies. These are the last vestiges of a US gambling
industry though. There are increasingly few ways for US citizens to access the
online casinos and so the few companies remaining are getting all of the
business. Essentially, the important information for US gamblers to know is that
there are many companies still avidly trying to keep the US market alive
considering the regulations and situation has not really changed in the past
three years.
That’s the whole crux of the dilemma right now, the US government has not won
any of the newer cases in to strengthen the UIGEA and there is a very real hope
that efforts to neutralize the UIGEA will take effect this year. New legislation
that aims to legalize and regulate the online casinos is growing stronger on a
regular basis and yet is still quite far from actually passing through into law. |
