Big Enough Hit
The online casino poker competition between Dwan and Antonius has been ongoing
for quite a few months now and the end is actually not yet in sight. The Finnish
player, Patrik Antonius accepted last year’s challenge from poker pro Dwan to
participate in more than 1000 hands of poker and a one million dollar prize at
stake for the player that is ahead at the end of the hands. Dwan issued forth
the challenge and basically, if Antonius wins the Challenge then he is able to
take the $1 million at stake. On the other hand though, that many hands is a lot
of poker play and there is a lot of time for the favor and money to really
change across that many hands of poker.
The game has really kept the interested online casino poker gamblers guessing as
the players switch positions in money rankings a couple of times now. Although
Antonius held the lead in the game for the first couple hundred poker hands, as
Dwan learned Antonius’ style then the game started to shift and Dwan has now
taken the lead. Even that being said though, Antonius is a very strong player in
the online casino poker industry and he took home the biggest pot of the game so
far just this past month. With $150,000 in the pot, Antonius was able to turn
the situation a bit more in his favor by winning the pot and really surprising
poker enthusiasts tracking the game and monitoring the progress.
Antonius is actively playing the hands in the Challenge with Dwan, but also
frequenting some of the other poker tables at Full Tilt – perhaps to keep his
skills sharp in between game play with Dwan. The Challenge is pretty exciting
and rounding its final curve toward the finish line as the two land and online
casino poker pros compete in the final third of the planned poker hands. |
