Ladbrokes Transformation Plans
A new CEO for the UK based Ladbrokes land and online casino gambling group may
just give competitors in the UK betting market a run for their money. Ladbrokes
is an established name in the UK gambling market and the company’s brand has
been serving land bettors for decades; the transition into the internet gambling
industry, however, has not gone particularly well for the gambling group and
Ladbrokes’ internet gambling divisions are lagging behind key competitors. The
introduction of Richard Glynn as Ladbrokes CEO is intended to really breath some
fresh air into the company’s internet gambling division with new programs and
strategies for brining this major internet betting company’s internet interest
up to par with Will Hill and other major UK competitors.
Glynn has a reputation in the industry for his transformational powers – as the
former CEO of Sporting Index he worked wonders bringing the mostly telephone
based betting company into alignment with the internet gambling industry and
created an entirely new internet betting industry through the company’s website.
Ladbrokes has a solid reputation in the betting market and Glynn’s task is to
take that reputation and turn it into a viable and lucrative online casino
betting business. Glynn has already completed an operational overview of the
internet gambling group and will now begin working with the Ladbrokes online
betting team to create new programs that really make the company’s internet
division pop.
First on the list of changes is more of a focus on the customer experience –
happy customers are return customers and Glynn really feels that improvements in
the online casino betting site’s performance, player programs and technology
will boost the business. Add to that other changes to add in complimentary areas
of the internet gambling market and Glynn has some aggressive strategies for a
new online gambling division for Ladbrokes. |
