The social media phenomenon is truly marking the current generation because of

way that communication is able to spread all over the world and through
companies. Facebook is the holy grail of social networks right now and the

where Harrah’s is hoping to use their services. Harrah’s and Playdom are teaming
up to develop a series of branded games for the Facebook space that will
coincide with major land and online casino events happening in the outside
world. These games will adhere to the no gambling policies on Facebook but will
feature the brand and the idea behind the games, giving Harrah’s and the major
events such as the World Series of Poker, new relevancy in the mass market that
may not actively follow online casinos and land gambling events.
The new deal has already been side and Playdom is in the planning stages of the
new games. In addition to the branded games, Harrah’s and Playdom will develop
the social media presence of the company through sweepstakes and fun promotions
only offered through the Facebook page for the company. |
