American Online Casino Wants Ignored
The American public wants legalized online casino poker and yet the politicians
are taking their sweet time negotiating the logistics and arguing about what is
best for the Americans to do with their free time and spending money. Alphonse
D’Amato is the Chairman of the Poker Players Alliance and one of the most
outspoken former politicians in the market about the legalization needed for
internet poker. D’Amato is a former Senator and a respected voice in the debate;
his recent op-ed piece in the Politico last week was a clear debate in favor of
the clearly passing regulations that rapidly change the status of internet poker
in the US. Unlike the online casinos, internet poker is not widely considered a
form of chance gambling and thus Americans are demanding that the government
open up the payment channels so they can legally enjoy this pastime.
Players in favor of legal and regulated online casinos and poker gambling have
repeatedly and consistently voiced their opinion to the US officials with
internet petitions, write-in campaigns and so many other efforts to get
politicians to understand that there is a huge number of Americans currently
opposed to the internet poker bans. The number of Americans actually taking the
time and effort to support online casino poker legalization account for more
than any other issue that was voted on at the America Speaking Out site.
So what is the delay is the real question? D’Amato’s op-ed piece highlights this
major issue that is affecting millions of Americans. The number of supporters
taking their personal time to support the legalization of this industry is
astonishing and consistently crops up in the poles. Voters are making their
concerns very clear in regards to the online casino poker situation and D’Amato
speculates and wonders why the politicians are not listening to the voters and
actually taking their cue from the policies their voters want in place. |
