Online Casino High Hopes
The debacle over the past four years in regards to the US online casino gambling
industry has made international governments and politicians incredibly
frustrated with the US government. The World Trade Organization got involved in
the situation and conflicts are still present between nations like Antigua that
are concerned that they are still being unfairly blocked from the US internet
gambling industry. Through all of this though many European online casinos have
remained optimistic about the future of the US internet gambling industry. Party
Gaming in particular was once the largest name in the US internet gambling
industry and the company was brought to its knees financially when it was forced
to leave the US market.
Party Gaming has restructured and grown a strong European online casino gambling
industry for the brand and is now no longer reliant on the re-opening of the US
market…not that the company is hoping for it. Party Gaming is one of the key
companies actively vying for re-entry to the US market and the CEO of Party
Gaming, Jim Ryan, has noted that the online casino gambling group is currently
in talks with the US government to ensure that the gambling group will not be
blocked from licensing if the US market re-opens.
Ryan displays an uncharacteristic optimism about the opening of the US online
casino gambling industry and his company’s ability to once again open virtual
doors and service US players. Party Gaming has been making headlines because of
the company’s strong success with mergers and new acquisitions and there is
little doubt that this gaming giant will find a way into the US market if the
federal government passes new legislation. |
