Online Casino License Suspension
Grand Prive has been heating up the international headlines lately because the
online casino gambling site had a negative situation with non-payment of funds
owned to the site’s affiliates. The affiliate industry is an integral part of
running a successful gaming site and honesty in this field is directly a
reflection on how the gambling site will also act if troubles arise at the
gambling site itself. The site has long been licensed through the Kahnawake
Gaming Commission and operated on the reputable Microgaming software platform.
Just recently rumors circulated that Grand Prive was had switched off of the
Microgaming platform and that the groups online casinos were switched over to a
new platform.
This is a direct violation of terms that the Grand Prive Group has with the KGC
and as such, the Commission just this week announced that it has suspended Grand
Prive’s license to operate online casinos in the international gaming market. To
have avoided this suspension Grand Prive would only have needed to file a
Material Change Report with the Commission; that didn’t happen though and no
reason was given, nor an attempt to immediately rectify the situation. The
Commission has clearly outlined the simple steps that the online casino gambling
group needs to complete before a re-licensing will occur – primarily just a
filing of documents concerning the new gaming software used on the site.
The KGC has just suspended the site’s license and sent out a public notice to
all of the other online casino licensing jurisdictions around the world as well
as to the gambling public. Players should be immediately advised that this site
is not properly licensed right now. |
