Rumors of Online Casino Sale
The online casino gambling industry is buzzing this week with speculation about
the possible sale of two major sites/businesses within the industry. The Gaming
Media Group is a relatively well established company within the market, the
Group was founded and owned by some of the more illustrious names in the
gambling industry who have created a gambling group producing solid and
innovative new products for the dynamic gambling industry. This includes online
casinos and even a profitable Poker Channel. In fact, it’s these very two assets
that may be up for sale in the near future according to a UK newspaper, the
Telegraph.
According to the Telegraph, Gaming Media Group has hired an outside company, the
Cavendish Corporate Finance company to come into the group and advice the online
casino gambling group on possible options for the future of both Poker Heaven
and Poker Channel. These are two of the signature products from Gaming Media
Group but yet could go up for sale if the prospects look really profitable and
sound. Both of the online casino gaming group’s interests are currently doing
quite well on their own and that is precisely the reason they might go up for
sale – because they are strong sites with viable niche markets and dynamic
products that would nicely expand the portfolio of larger gaming groups.
The Telegraph has speculated that major online casino gambling groups such as
888, Ladbrokes, Paddy Power, and others would definitely be interested in
acquiring these interests if the Gaming Media Group decides to sell. |
