Choosing a New Provider
The Grand Prive debacle has not yet ended, or perhaps we should say, the debacle
has a new chapter in its story. Grand Prive made headlines last year because of
a major disagreement with the site’s affiliates that promoted the online casino
in exchange for compensation – as is traditional in an affiliate relationship.
Grand Prive has long been powered by the highly reputable Microgaming software
platform, and Microgaming stepped in and agreed to help sort out the situation
in question ensure that all affiliates were properly compensated – then rumors
circulated that Grand Prive provided the software development company with
incomplete information and the affiliate payments were still incorrect.
The next chapter in the Grand Prive saga now likely sees Microgaming exiting the
equation as the software provider for the gaming group and industry insiders
claim that Grand Prive has now fully launched the online casino gambling site on
the BetOnSoft gaming platform. BetOnSoft is a much smaller gaming company – with
fewer games from which to choose. Surprisingly though, none of the three
companies involved have elaborated on the change – there are no reasons given,
nor any formal announcement actually.
Grand Prive’s troubles though have maligned the online casinos name quite a bit
and Microgaming was likely quite relieved to have the gambling group choose
another software provider. No requests for further clarification from the
industry have yet been returned, so affiliates are still encouraged to steer
well clear of the Grand Prive group for the time being most certainly. Check

within the industry. |
