Catering to the Mac
The iPhone is all of the rage right now all over the world. The apps industry
has gone absolutely wild and the online casino gambling and betting industry was
actually quite slow to jump on the band wagon. Because the Apple platform is so
completely different from Windows and traditional operating systems, gaming
designers have been reluctant to design an entire new line of software that is
compatible with Macs, and Mac products. In the past six months, however, that
attitude has really changed and the online casinos are embracing the iPhone as
one of the most viable mobile platforms on the market. Skybet is the latest
company to announce a new betting product launched solely with the iPhone market
in mind.
Skybet Sports has just announced a new deal to work with Mkodo to develop and
launch a Skybet branded mobile betting service. The iPhone Skybet sportsbook is
intended to bridge the huge gap between what traditional mobile devices can
handle from the mobile online casinos offer, and a higher functionality that
iPhone users can expect. The Skybet mobile site has been optimized so that Mac
mobile users (the iPhone and iTouch) can easily access all of the Skybet betting
features, seamlessly and easily. Mobile betting is really hitting an all time
high right now for online casino betting companies and Skybet is one of the
first to see the huge potential is allowing iPhone users to also place bets from
their phones.
Skybet and Mkodo will continue to work together as this new iPhone betting
platform adjusts to player feedback as well as adjusts to the dynamic and
changing needs of the online casino betting market. |
