The team working behind Praesepe has extensive experience within the online casinos, so there is a thought that this major land expansion is just one phase of a larger growth plan.

The Beacon Entertainment deal is worth a whopping GBP 45 million – that includes the agreed purchase price of a mere GBP 5 million, and then Praesepe will assume Beacon Entertainment’s current debt of GBP 40 million that is sitting in the UK banks. That debt is quite significant, but Praesepe has so much experience in the land and online casino gaming market that there is a strong assumption that the company can turn around the profits and make Beacon’s assets function well in the current marketplace as the two brands begin to serious synergize and share technologies and gamers.

The companies anticipate that the synthesizing of the two companies will take well over a year – in that amount of time though the two vast land and online gaming companies will take stock of the individual assets and create a plan for maximizing the profit margin once the two companies combine.
