Legalized intrastate gambling would not only bring in new revenues for the state coffers but tribes in support of the internet poker legislation assert that internet poker is a very positive move for the state of California.

The debate is waging on between the two sides within the tribes and despite the fact that many politicians have asserted the benefit of internet poker, some tribes are outright opposed to introducing any sort of competition within the market, and that includes internet poker particularly.
