Supporting Online Casino Regulation
It gets a bit tiring to write the same information week after week and see that
there is very little actual change happening within the industry. The online
casino gambling industry media is quick to point out all of the times when the
opposition for the internet gambling industry is passing out lies and
misinformation – but what where is the change. At this point the United States
has built up a whole lot of support for the new legislation that would legalize
and regulate offshore online casinos but yet the UIGEA ban on financial
transactions is still firmly in place and there is a fear that it could be years
before real change is reached and realized in the US market.
At the same time though, experts within the online casino gambling industry
continue to confirm that banning and blocking the industry is not highly
effective and does not actually give the governments more control. In fact,
gamblers are quite a bit less safe without effective legislation in place to
regulate online casinos and keep the industry in check. The situation though
continues to be ignored within Congress and throughout the government. There is
a time and a place for every situation and increasingly it seems as though this
is the time for the online casino gambling industry to really assert its case
and effect some real change at the Federal level.
Politicians all over the US and on both sides of the political divide agree that
it is time to affect change within the US online casino gambling industry. And
several key politicians are actively pursing the topic. But really, the
situation is getting old and it is about time that all of the talk stopped and
some real action was implemented. |
