Accessing the Asian Market: 2
As far as other regions of the online casino gambling industry, the Asian market
has a lot going on outside of China as well. Interestingly enough, the
predictions that came out of the industry from the analysts seem to be coming
true enough slowly and surely. Although there is no chance that China is
legalizing the online casinos in the near future, Japan has actually considered
lifting the ban on the industry in the past several months in favor of a more
regulatory approach to the industry. Basically, during the economic recession a
lot of countries are considering actions that they never thought possible.
The online casino gambling industry provides a lot of revenue for the countries
that operate legal and regulated internet gambling and now that there is a
strong impetus for new countries to introduce new regulations. Japan is no where
near regulation of the internet gambling industry – at least it’s not before the
year is out. Japan has been forced to really address the economic recession by
lowering the sub-prime interest rates and keeping all of the financial side of
the businesses affordable.
The country’s response to the recession has been to really look at new
opportunities and new industries that could positively affect the country’s
economy and the budget. Budget deficits are one of the largest issues right now,
on an international level. There is just not enough money right now for nations
to continue carrying out their full policies and services without additional
revenue coming into the state coffers – and that is where the online casinos are
a good and valuable industry for consideration. |
