Have a Little Trust
Trust within the online casino gambling industry is pretty tough these days
because it just seems like internet gambling companies are facing so much
international controversy that gamblers are weary of placing their trust in even
the most popular gambling brands. The United States is really beginning to crack
down on the illegal online casinos operating in the US market and the seizure of
bank accounts linked to the internet gambling have gamblers even outside of the
US gambling industry worried about the possible repercussion of the internet
gambling industry. Many of the internet gambling sites operating in the US also
operate internationally and gamblers in Europe wonder if a gambling site’s
activity in the US market makes it an unsafe choice in the European market as
well.
There is very valid concern here; the US government is consistently tracking
down illegally operating online casinos and seizing bank accounts, arresting
executives linked to the gambling companies, and generally cracking down on
gambling companies. At the same time though, although many online casinos still
choose to operate in the US market, many of these same companies use separate
channels to store account funds from US players versus players legally gambling
in Europe and other open and regulated markets.
Bodog is a great example of just why some online casinos are still safe despite
their decision to operate in the US market. The Bodog US brand is completely
separate from the licensed Bodog entity that operates in Asia right now and a
whole other entity than the one launching in Europe. The brand is the same and
the Bodog quality is assured, but gambling accounts and controversial decision
made by one entity do not directly affect the financial health of other branches
of the company. |
