WSOP Battle Details
The WSOP is, by far, the largest land poker gambling tournament in the entire
world. The World Series of Poker entices out the very best of the land and
online casino poker gambling industries to compete in the WSOP Main Events
throughout the summer, then the top gamblers that have proven themselves at the
Main Events and won bracelets are brought back several months later to
participate in the Final Table event. Poker enthusiasts from the land and online
casinos all over the world tuned into the Final Table even this year and the
more than 14 hours of game play ended in an exciting battle for the title of
WSOP Champion and the huge US $8.5 million prize that went to the last man
standing in the poker tournament.
Like many years, the Final Table lasts for hours because of the high skill level
of all of the poker players at the table. Those competing in the Final Table
event have several months to really hone their skills at the online casinos and
land poker tables from August through October until the final showdown takes
place in November. This year, the final two, Joseph Cada and Darvin Moon,
battled it out in the high stakes poker game. A lot of online casino poker
enthusiasts were quite surprised to see poker pro Phil Ivey pushed out of the
game as one of the last players left in the game. Once Moon managed to push Ivey
out (who left the tourney with $1.7 million in winnings for seventh place)
Begleiter and Shulman were then pushed out of the game.
Even for poker fans who only occasionally follow the land and online casino
gambling action, this final table battle was a big hit and kept the suspense
running right up until the end. |
