Sponsorship Isn't Going Anywhere
The media and online casino gambling analysts have been all over the place with
criticism and debate about the increasingly lucrative business of sport
sponsorship deals that partner the major betting and gaming sites with some of
the largest sporting events in the world. It started out as primarily team
sponsorship deals, but that seems to have changed some as the sports betting
companies are now also paying big money to sponsor the huge competitions taking
place all over the world; these events frequently offer extensive television
coverage and the exposure to a highly targeted market really does do incredibly
well for the businesses. The newest announcement comes out of Bwin Interactive;
Bwin has announced a deal with the Hahnenkamm World Cup Alpine Ski Race.
This new sponsorship deal is in effect throughout 2012 and is a big coup for the
Bwin online casino gambling group. Bwin is already the biggest sportsbetting
operator in the global market, this new sponsorship deal gives this already
dominant company further control over the internet betting and gambling market.
The next Hahnenkamm World Cup will take place this January in Austria and occurs
annually. It generally generates a good deal of excitement in the online casino
gambling and betting industries.
As a part of the sponsorship deal for this major World Cup games, Bwin’s online
casino gambling and betting brand will be plastered throughout the event’s
marketing activities, promotions, and even on the field on game day. The
game-day advertising deal was agreed at 60 meters big advertising board with the
Bwin logo and message. |
