Shulman Takes the Cover
Bluff Europe made a bold move this week with the release of the latest magazine
from the company, and Barry Shulman took the cover image of this land and online
casino poker gambling magazine. Bluff Europe is one of the largest and most
recognizable of the poker gambling magazines in the market and the company has a
reputation for high quality articles and a whole lot of pertinent industry
information. In this case, the controversy over the cover stems from the fact
that although Shulman makes a natural choice for the cover image of the Bluff
Europe magazine because he was the winner of the WSOP, online casino poker
enthusiasts were surprised that the executives at Bluff were willing to overlook
the fact that Shulman is the CEO of CardPlayer, Bluff’s biggest rival in the
poker magazine industry.
In fact, Bluff Europe is entirely unruffled by the concept of putting the CEO of
a rival magazine on the cover. The fact is, Shulman, no matter what his day job
may be, is the winner of the 2009 WSOP. Over the past five months the online
casinos and poker enthusiasts have really wondered which poker pro was going to
take home the title for the final table event that took place over this past
weekend.
Shulman’s win was quite the victory too as he overcame another land and online
casino poker pro to take the title, Daniel Negreanu. Negreanu is a very solid
player who has a growing reputation for highly skilled play. But when it came
down to the final hands, Shulman took home the top prize and is crowned as this
year’s WSOP champion. Bluff Europe has the whole story in the most recent
magazine at newsstands. |
