Exclusive Conference
The online casino gambling industry has a whole lot of conferences on the
monthly schedule – niche and wide sweeping events that take place all over the
world and discuss nearly every single topic related to the internet gambling
industry. With all of these to choose from, however, there is only one event
that has continued to maintain its exclusivity and acts as a major event for all
of the powerhouses running the online casinos. The event, the eGaming Review
Power 50 Summit 2009 occurs in just a couple of days, between May 10th and the
12th and will feature all of the biggest names in the industry – everyone from
top executives at the internet casinos to key figures developing ancillary
products for the internet gambling industry, like representatives from eCOGRA.
The Power 50 is extremely exclusive and attendance at the event is by invitation
only – the conference attendee numbers are kept low and those in attendance for
the three days operate under Chatham House rule. This means that no one
attending the event can leave the conference and report any on who said what
throughout the event – the source of information that is discussed at the
meeting is entirely protected. There is a lot happening throughout the online
casino gambling industry these days with new regulations, monopolies in some
countries, and technology advancements on a regular basis.
The Summit Chairman also operates as the master of ceremonies for the event; the
chief of COGRA, Michael Hirst, will take this position for this year’s summit.
The keynote speakers are already lined up with top executives from the online
casinos and related industries and also in the plan are some very in depth panel
discussion that then lead to a open-to-the-room discussion that often runs into
the night as executives discuss the nitty-gritty details and specifics of the
industry. |
