Conference Event Canceled
The online casino gambling industry has a very full conference schedule
throughout the year – there are specific and general conferences and conferences
that appeal to very specific sectors of the international internet gambling
industry. The upcoming SiGNAL event has been canceled at the last minute even
though it was due to take place this coming weeked and run from the 19th to the
21st of May. The online casinos and internet gambling executives scheduled to
attend the event will have to wait for the next major industry conference.
According to the annual event organizers, Clarion Gaming, the currently failing
global economy is a large portion of the reason for canceling the event.
SiGNAL 2009 is designed as a conference event hat would allow online casinos and
executives from all over the world to convene and discuss all of the changes
occurring in the industry. Interestingly, Clarion Gaming is not giving up all
hopes for the industry right now, the company has announced the launch of
BetMarkets Asia. The event was already mostly planned when the cancellation was
announced – and though executives from the online casinos are out the cost of
their plane tickets (although many are surely refundable) this is a disruption
and those executives now have little reason to travel this May.
The new Asian facing event is sure to be a big hit – the Asian market is one of
the top gaming markets in the world and this new conference event will harness
all of the top speakers and entrepreneurs in the online caisno gambling industry
and would have gathered them all at the event to impart their wisdom. |
