Aziz is After Money
Javaid Aziz, the former CEO of CryptoLogic has been made out to be quite the
villain in the online casino gambling industry media. CryptoLogic has struggled
over the past several months to stay afloat and adopt a new growth and
development strategy that will see the company through the tough economic times
that are ahead. Although it seemed as though the company was on the right track
in more recent months, the industry news exploded earlier in the year with the
announcement that the former CEO, Aziz, was going to the company’s board members
with demands that the rest of his severance package money be released.
The online casino gambling industry has watched the story unfold in the industry
media – CryptoLogic claims that Aziz has not lived up to the terms of his
agreement and therefore does not deserve the rest of the funds. The issue was
very complicated and there was no telling where the truth lied for some time –
the issue seems to have taken a backseat though in more recent weeks to the
startling news that CryptoLogic lost its exclusive licensing deal with Marvel
Comics.
The company is really having a hard time recovering from the headquarter shift
that occurred a couple of years ago. As the economy has plunged, it only meant
further financial woes for CryptoLogic, an online casino gambling group that was
previously considering the crème of the crop in terms of software development
companies – now the competition is creeping up on CryptoLogic and taking
advantage of all of the company’s vulnerabilities. |
