The position paper goes on to note that the US politicians that have pushed for the banning and blocking of foreign online casinos are actually the reason that the industry is more dangerous now than ever before. US politicians claim that banning the pastime is the only way to protect US gamblers – but in fact other developed nations throughout Europe have managed to regulate and license the internet casinos without too much difficulty.

The paper asserts that much of the negativity that is associated with online casino gambling and the dangers associated with the pastime have actually been created and supported by the US governments UIGEA and the Department of Justice’s prosecution of one of the safest payment processing companies previously operating in the US market.
