Online Casino Industry Ponders Truth: 2
Some of the details that have come to light as the Financial Times weighs in on
the ongoing CryptoLogic situation in the online casino gambling industry is the
fact that Aziz actually had a money-hungry attitude throughout his time as CEO
of CryptoLogic. CryptoLogic is one of the largest and most popular online casino
software development companies in the industry. In recent months though the
company has been really scaling back operations in an effort to restructure and
strengthen the brand and the company’s financial viability. As those efforts
made international news throughout the industry, the situation with Aziz has
only continued to escalate.
GambleCraft reported last week on Aziz’s request that an extraordinary general
meeting be held with the shareholders so that the former CEO could take his case
to a wider number of people. CryptoLogic denied that request however and the
online caisno gambling industry has been waiting now for several days to
discover the next move from either party as this situation continues.
In addition to the claims on a huge sum of money in escrow, Aziz is attempting
to re-establish himself in the online casino software development company with
claims that the current leadership is corrupt and needs to be ousted. As all of
this occurs, the FT reported that information has come to light that throughout
his time as CEO Aziz consistently demanded more money from CryptoLogic and even
threatened to sue if some of his outrageous demands were not met. Like the CAP
situation, there is a lot of conflicting information that the online gambling
industry is weeding through to find the truth at the bottom of it all. |
