Oh Conference, How we Love Thee
GambleCraft has already covered a lot of the upcoming conferences that are
scheduled for the online caisno gambling industry but there is one that the
gaming companies and executives really can’t afford to miss considering the
miserable state of the global economy. The European Gambling Briefing 2009 is in
its fifth year of annual running and will take place in Budapest, Hungary. The
conference is unique from all of the rest largely because it is designed to
really address the legislation and regulations that are currently affecting the
online casinos and intenret gambling companies. Other conferences this year may
cover some of the same information but only this briefing really gives attendees
the opportunity to focus solely on the issues rather than on exhibits and new
technologies as well.
The organizers are touting this year’s event as one of the most important for
industry professionals to attend. The current global economy has really had some
adverse affects on some gambling companies, and beyond that, there are changes
afoot in the European legislation and regulations. The European Commission has
been hard at work on the countries that have previously operating online casino
gambling monopolies and some countries are now in the process of writing new and
liberal gaming regulations that will benefit the state, as well as the foreign
gaming companies.
The Gambling Briefing will cover the current state of cross-borders online
caisno gambling in Europe as well as some of the changes that the industry can
expect in the coming months. Trends and pressing legal action will also be
covered and all of the panels, lectures, and discussions will be led by the best
in the industry – key industry lawyers, top CEOs and research analysts will
provide the bulk of the covered information. The event takes place this coming
April. |
