Not Every Site is Leaving
The Microgaming online casino software development company made the firm
decision several months ago to fully back out of the US internet gambling
industry. The decision was made partly because of the ongoing situation in
Kentucky that has threatened the domain names of some of the largest internet
gambling brands in the European market. And even though the Kentucky situation
is still in the courts, Microgaming announced that it planned to immediately
implement new technology across its gaming platform that would make it so that
any of the online casinos licensing Microgaming software would not have any
access to US players.
This decision was a safety measure for all of the online casinos operating on
the Microgaming platform – and many of the internet gambling companies were
pleased with this decision or had already banned and blocked US gamblers from
their sites. A few gambling sits on the other hand, like Poker Host, were still
quite active in the US gambling market and have no intention of leaving those
players behind anytime soon. It has now been definitely confirmed that that
Poker Host online casino gambling site is no longer operating on the Microgaming
gaming platform but is now a part of the Cake Poker Network.
Poker Host is very certain in its decision to welcome online casino poker
gamblers from the US – the site is launching this week on the Cake Network and
is actually offering a huge launch promotion for the site’s existing gamblers
that are also moving onto the new network as well as new US poker gamblers who
are looking for a safe place to gamble. |
