Chilipoker Signs with Playtech

The French online casino gambling market is soon to open now that the French government has really put the process in motion. Over the past several months the prominent internet gambling brands in the European market have begun to build partnership agreements that will solidify a place for the companies in the emerging French market. Chilipoker is a shoe-in in the French market; the online casino poker gambling site has experienced incredible growth recently and penned a deal with the second largest internet service provider in France, “Free.” Additionally, now that Chilipoker has assured itself a position in the French market the next step was to secure a strong online gambling software platform – the deal with Playtech has been finalized and penned just this week.

Playtech is arguably the top software provider in the world (the company competes with the other major brands like Microgaming and CryptoLogic) and the new deal with Chilipoker is quite beneficial for the Playtech brand as well. The new licensing agreement has the online casino poker site running as a sub-licensee on the Playtech platform of a trial period of time before securing a direct Playtech software license. The French market is still in the regulatory and licensing stage so there is not yet full access to the market for foreign online casinos – that will occur by the end of the year.

The Chilipoker online casino is well positioned and has all of its ducks in a row right now. Between the licensing deal with Playtech and the entry into the French market, Chilipoker is an up and coming gaming brand in the European market.
