They're Already Using It
A recent survive designed to assess and identify a basic profile for the average
active gambler today indicates that they are not just your mainstream average
American, some of their statistics put them in a whole new bracket. Not only
does the survey indicate that gamblers are busier than the average American, but
the internet gamblers are also very tech savvy and prone to using the internet.
With that in mind, it makes sense that land gamblers are seeking out the online
casinos – they generally embrace technology and seek out interactive and cross
promotional designs. This means that the trend toward online casino gambling
applications for iPhones and mobile devices is right in line with what the busy
land gambler is looking for.
The profile of an active gambler was done across 2,000 participants and all of
the survey participants frequent a land gambling establishment. The survey
though indicates that a large percentage of these gamblers are also using the
online casinos or they are primed to begin migrating to the internet platform.
This survey is really the only of its kind, and although detractors have some
issues with the fact that the study was conducted by a slot machine
manufacturer, the results of the survey are pertinent within both the land and
online casino gambling industries because they provide valuable insight into
what the internet gamblers are thinking and how they perceive their time and
gambling use.
The online casinos are becoming an excellent option for the “time impoverished”
Americans because they lead frenetic lifestyles and are having trouble fitting
it all in. Right now it seems that the average active gambler just doesn’t feel
like he has enough time in the day to fit everything in – this is an important
piece of information for the land casinos to consider as they market and
continue trying to appeal to a wide demographic of land gamblers. |
