Revamping Online Casino Brand
The online casino gambling industry has remained mostly competitive over the
passed year despite the global recession. And as the recession concerns begin to
lessen in some areas of the global economy, companies are looking for a way to
reinvent themselves and create a new name and image. For Will Hill, a major land
betting company that has just in the past couple of years entered the online
casino gambling industry, the decision to revamp its betting venues was a simple
choice –it was time. The company has decided to significantly update its look
and feel in accordance with consumer land and online betting habits.
The announcement that the company was going for a whole new, re-branded land and
online casino feel, three rival gambling agencies vied for the chance to
overhaul such a prominent and lucrative brand. Of the three major UK companies,
Wolff Olins made the best pitch and is now tasked with updating the Will Hill
brand and really overhauling the company’s brand positioning. The other two
companies appealing for the contract, Elmwood and Heavenly, are also major
companies in the market and would have loved to have scored such a large
contract with one of the major land and online casino gambling groups.
The brand consultancy is expected to occur throughout the rest of the year and
consumers at the company’s land and online casino gambling venues should see the
changes in branding and “feel” of the company over the next year or so. The land
and online casino gambling group is one of the oldest in the UK market and there
is no doubt that that company can use a bit of a “freshening” to remain current. |
