Changes Afoot at Will Hill

The online casino gambling industry doesn’t announce major changes very often, but the announced transaction between Will Hill and Playtech has definite potential as a huge coup for the gambling company. And through it all, the company’s former Director, Avigur Zmora, has led the Will Hill brand firmly into the internet gambling industries. Prior to Zmora’s leadership at Will Hill the company was slowly losing revenue and hope about successful ventures into the world of online casinos. Over the past year, however, Will Hill has successfully launched an internet betting site on the Orbis platform while also strengthening its existing internet and poker gambling brands.

Zmora has done wonders with Will Hill’s expansion and development strategy for the online casino gambling industry. Unlike land betting, internet gambling requires several additional variables that all have to work seamlessly. Then there was the matter of promoting the Will Hill brand as a respected institution outside of the land betting market. Zmora has managed to successfully steer the company in the right direction and now that a major partnership agreement is in place with Playtech, a major online casino software development company, Zmora announced he is stepping down from the position.

Importantly though, Zmora is leaving the land and online casino gambling group on positive terms. Although Zmora stepped down right after the Playtech transaction was completed, he will continue to work with Will Hill on an advisory and consultant basis as needed until a new Director is firmly in place and successfully executing Will Hill Online’s expansion and development strategy.
