Licensing for Live Dealer Casinos
The demand for live dealer casinos and offers at the online gambling sites is
skyrocketing and there are now huge efforts in place at licensing jurisdictions
like the Isle of Man to accommodate this new sector of the gambling industry.
Basic online casino gambling sites are licensed through a dozen or so different
respected jurisdictions. The jurisdictions though now have a curve-ball thrown
their way as companies are looking to not only offer live dealing through the
sites, but companies like Celton Manx, a subsidiary of SBObet, are interested in
operating these live casinos from the licensing jurisdictions.
According to recently released information Celton Manx has been awarded a
license from the Isle of Man to open up a lice dealer casino setup that can then
be fed live to the online casinos operating for the European, UK, and global
gambling industries. Because the live dealer venue is merely for broadcasting
purposes and there is no actual live gambling, the company anticipates that it
can have the live dealer operations up and running by the second quarter of the
year.
Interestingly, all of the systems that empower the live dealer format will be
run out of the Isle of Man – then fed to the internet and the online casinos
licensing use of that feed. But the actual gaming tables and dealers will be
set-up elsewhere according to a spokesperson for Celton Manx. Rumor has it that
this will take place in the Philippines and is already in the development and
implementation process. |
