Online Casinos Gather for Event

All year long it seems that the online casino gambling industry is preparing, attending, or finishing and number of a dozen or more conferences specifically designed for the internet gambling companies. A new conference though has joined the calendar and all of the major online casinos have been sure to mark the occasion for the second annual Responsible Gaming Day. This one day conference is organized by the European Gaming and Betting Association and is aimed at gathering up the online gaming sites once a year for a day to cover some of the basics, showcase some new technologies and generally keep responsible gambling practices at the forefront of their minds.

The EGBA is a respected organization in Europe because of its work to protect not only the internet gamblers with responsible gaming measures, but the right policies and procedures actually heavily benefit the online casinos themselves. All of the big gambling sites from nearly every sector of the industry have been invited to the event taking place in Brussels on February 17, 2009. There will likely be bevy of representatives from the online casino gambling industry, internet poker, and online bingo.

As for the format and topics of the event, keynote speakers will include academics and respected analysts in the industry. Like other conferences, the event will have some highly pertinent lecture-type presentations in addition to group discussions and a chance for all of these different sectors of the industry to co-mingle and come up with the most effect tactics for responsible gaming policies, techniques, and more.
