Enticing the Online Casinos
The demand for new licensing jurisdictions for the online casino gambling
industry is on the rise as the global demand for internet gambling continues to
steadily increase. New markets are opening up every year it seems and that means
that established sites in addition to a host of new sites are vying for entry
into new internet gambling markets. New sites mean a greater demand from
licensing for these online casinos and that’s where Panama has stepped up to the
plate and offers internet gambling companies some of the best tax-regulations
and policies in the world.
Latin America is not particularly known for it’s link to the online casino
gambling industry – Costa Rica would be just about the only country thus far
that has really entered into that market – and even to that extent, Costa Rica
has few if any internet gambling specific regulations and laws. Panama on the
other hand has highly advanced legislation and regulatory policy in place in
regards to licensing and hosting online casinos servicing the global internet
gambling industry.
Some of these enticing tax-laws include the complete exemption from paying
national taxes, local taxes – really any taxes on the income brought in from
online based businesses – and this certainly includes the internet casinos. It’s
a wonder though, that with these hugely attractive policies that more companies
have not based their headquarters and operations out of Panama. The fact that
the US market is no longer viable for internet gambling could play a huge role –
all of the current internet gambling business is largely based out of Europe and
Asia to a much smaller extent. |
